Wilson Game Calls Executioner Deer Grunt Call 1001 Review:
I have 3 close encounters as experience with this grunt call. First was a 130 class whitetail that came out of some trees to my left. I had a decoy, the Boss Buck, to my right. The buck didn't see the decoy and started to angle away toward some other deer. I did two grunts on the Executioner and that buck turned his head and locked onto that decoy and headed toward him.
My second experience involved a 1 1/2 year old buck that I was hung up 100 yards in front of me. On the 4th grunt the young buck came in.
My third experience involved the a 130 class 9 pt. at 50 yards. I grunted twice and the buck instantly was at alarm and 30 seconds later trotted away. Not sure why that buck didn't like the grunt that time, but I do have 2 experiences that definitely worked.
This grunt tube is very easy to blow and to me makes a realistic sound very much like a deer grunting.
I have many grunt tubes and I use this one or the Primos Trophy Grunter when I go out. I switch them up to give the deer a different sound.
Others have also commented: Randy Witt - The call is hand made from wood and is the most realistic grunt tube I have every used, it will not freeze up no matter how wet or cold it gets. I used it at 10 degrees last winter it was flawless. The sound is so true to life I don't know how they did it.

I have taken 6 good bucks(all 8 points or better) in Texas and this year on the opening day of the archery deer season here in NYS I called in with the Execution and shot my biggest bow buck. He tipped the scales at 190 pounds dressed and carried an 8 point rack. I have introduced several friends to this call as well as written about it many times in my outdoor column in The Daily Gazette.
